Have a Very Mamet Christmas with The National Theatre of the World’s Impromptu Splendor. Matt Baram. Naomi Snieckus. Ron Pederson. Special Guest: David Ferry. Here is what the NTW have to say: “Joining us is the award winning actor, director, dramaturge DAVID FERRY – David won the 2006 Dora Mavor Moore award for Best Direction for The Last Days of Judas Iscariot (also Best Production Dora) and will be joining us as we instantly manifest a gritty electrically charged improvised play in Mamet Speak. Replete with terse, sparse and thoroughly vulgar dialogue!. A dynamic, festive evening of desperate machismo, white hot intensity, dazzling use of the F-word and yuletide cheer. The stakes are #%&@ing high this X-mas.” Monday, December 7th. 8pm. Theatre Passe Muraille Mainspace. 16 Ryerson Avenue. $10.00.
