Hot Mess Comedy Show is an all female sketch comedy troupe featuring the talents of Ambyr Dunn, Laurie Jones, Nicole Moore and Lianne Perry. The ideas behind each of their sketches are good- clever, unique and often a commentary on the female experience, but the construction of the sketches needs some honing for maximum comic potential. All four are proficient performers who commit wholeheartedly to their characters and bring great energy to all their roles. They make you want to root for them and they make you want their sketches to succeed and to be hysterical.
I would suggest that Dunn, Jones, Moore and Perry spend some time focusing on finessing the arc and the pacing of each sketch and perhaps getting an outside eye to act as a director to help tighten them up into more concentrated comedy packages.

Tickets are $6.00 and are available in advance online at this website or 30 minutes before each show at the venue on the day of the performance.
